Turkoglu the hero as Raptors get tiebreaker over Bobcats (Highlights)
With the Toronto Raptors fighting for their playoff lives getting a must-win victory on the road against a tough home opponent who is one spot ahead of you in the standings is huge. This win has an even bigger impact as it gives the Toronto Raptors the tie-breaker over the Bobcats.
The Raptors pulled off quite the feat beating the Bobcats at home where they are the 8th best team in the league. Even more impressively the Toronto raptors shot .506 and became the first team in 14 games to score 100 points on the Charlotte Bobcats.
Chris Bosh was his in his usual solid form and finished the game with 22 pints and 11 rebounds, while Antoine Wright made his case to permanently be in the starting lineup with 15 points and 6 rebounds.
Andrea Bargnani had a plus rebound game and finished with 9 rebounds and 16 points on 6 of 14 shooting.
Sonny Weems missed two crucial free throws down the stretch to give the Bobcats possession with around 10 seconds left on the clock and it appeared like the all-too-familiar scene was going to play out once again when the basketball gods answered Sonny Weems’ prayers and Chandler fumbled a Raymond Felton pass to seal the victory for the Raptors.
