Like we discussed on Monday, Jay Triano plans to start DeMar DeRozan at Shooting Guard this season, citing the fact that it may be hard to get him into the lineup otherwise and that you cannot let a #9 pick rot on the bench.

Now while he stopped short of officially naming DeRozan the starter, all ones has to do is read between the lines and it is easy to hear that Triano is divulging his plans without putting that official stamp on it. Barring a Ron Artest of old style preseason meltdown it is safe to say that barring injury the DeRozan era begins October 28^th 2009 at the ACC.
