On Feb 5, on raptors.com, Adnan Virk reported on an interview with Colangelo where BC said he he had talked to his bosses and was returning for next season and many seasons to come! Richard Peddie on fan590 today said Colangelo contract is for 4 years ending in 2011 and that MLSE had the right to terminate early this June. Of course they have no intention of letting Colangelo go. Peddie also said Colangelo has no right to terminate early and they will not give any team permission to talk to him. There is no "extension" required for next season as Colangelo is already under contract for next season. I believe Peddie is somewhat pissed at the made up news stories making the rounds about his GM. You have been fooled by BAD reporting from usually reliable sources.
