Fantasy: Sleepers – Small Forwards

KDThese Small Forwards are destined to be more valuable than their current ADP suggests.

Andres Nocioni – Nocioni has always been a fantasy sleeper simply for the fact that he qualifies at SF and PF and can, as a starter reach double digit rebounds and drian a couple of threes a night. Add to that the fact that Nocioni is a tough player and a capable defender and it is surprising more people don’t think he will make his mark with the talent devoid Sacramaneto Kings. Donte Greene and Gracia will also see minutes at SF but Nocioni is clearly the most talented of the bunch and is more suited than Garcia to be a starting SF in the NBA. Nocioni is the 18th-21st SF off the board and he will out produce his ADP by at least a couple of positions.

Kevin Durant – Worthy of fantasy pieces to himself, KD is a sleeper only because he should be a top 3 pick, but is currently going 5th-15th. KD is arguably the most talented player in the NBA, period; people passing on him in their drafts obviously do not watch box scores nor watch and Thunder games. Durantula has arrived, and it is time for the fantasy world to take notice.

Terrence Williams – Fantasy Stud Alert: T-Will is a fantasy stud in the making he has the rebounding, passing and scoring skills to be an instant fantasy starter and is already a flex starter in all shapes and league sizes. He will put up appreciable numbers in scoring, rebounds and assists and will also put up solid steal numbers and perhaps even battle for league lead.  Yes, T-Will will start, Frank already likes his work ethic, and once you win over Frank minutes are not hard to come by (CDR will play off bench).

Thaddeus Young – Thaddeus is a very talented player but is being drafted late due to the return of Elton Brand. While it is true that the return of Elton Brand will negatively impact Young’s numbers, he is still a serviceable fantasy flex player who will post some big nights this season. He has the tools to be an effective inside and outside threat and should see starters minutes in this offense.
