DeMar DeRozan to compete in Dunk….In??

DeMar DeRozan has been tabbed to compete in the dunk-in. No….., that’s not a misprint.

DeRozan has been selected to compete against Los Angeles Clipper 2nd year standout Eric Gordon.

Gordon’s selection is surprising one as he, although he does slam it down on occasion, is known as more of a dead-eye shooter.

The dunk-in will be held during halftime of the rookie-sophomore game, which should help bring more excitement to the night.

As a Raptor fan however I feel DeRozan should be in the contest without needing to jump through hoops or waste dunks.

DeMar has also been selected to represent the Raptors in the rookie-sophomore game.

All in all though, we are elated that DeRozan will get a chance to show off his skills, its just too bad they didn’t pick former NCAA Slam Dunk Champion Sonny Weems to join him.

On the bright side though, DeMar DeRozan will get to boost his international exposure by being the star of the dunk-in.
