Chris Bosh – Fantasy Season Outlook

18 August 2009 225 views One Comment

Chris Bosh ready to let looseYour main man Chris Bosh is prognosticated to see a nice up tick in assists this season stemming from the arrival of Hedo, Jack and DeRozan, who are all capable of averaging 15 points a game. His FG% also stands to see a nice rise in production with multiple scoring threats on the floor at any given time.

Season forecast: 23.9 ppg, 10.1 rpg, .8 spg, 1.4 bpg, 2.5 apg 515 fg% 875 ft%

What we at Raptors Digest think Bosh will do

Raptor City Forecast: 26.2 ppg, 11.5 rpg, 1.2 spg, 1.9 bpg, 4 apg 525 fg% 870 ft%

Honestly we here at Raptors Digest think CB4 has more potential than our forecast indicates but we expect scoring load to be eased while seeing a nice rise in assists. The rebound differential is due to the fact that CB4 will be all-around more aggressive than he was in any of his previous years as an NBA player. He is maturing and growing as a man as well as a basketball player and this will be reflected on the court this season in a variety of ways. Number one being overall intensity and leadership.

Some have argued that our outlook for Chris Bosh may be a little bit ‘rosy’ and optimistic, but we clearly remember Chris Bosh being in the top 3 of the scoring race and rebounding like a man on a mission.

After the latest trade for Amir Johnson, Chris Bosh now has the athletic front-court mate Chris Bosh has been asking for since the Aldridge/Bargnani debate. Amir wont make the same type of impact an Aldridge will make but having someone with true athleticism beside Bosh just makes his life alot easier.

Chris Bosh is primed to have the consistency having a great team around him will allow him too; no longer does the entire load have to fall on his shoulder, he has Hedo in crunch time, last seasons starting PG for the Indiana Pacers, 3 new athletic swing-men, 1 new athletic big, NBA tough guy Reggie Evans, and his old front-court mate in Rasho Nesterovic, all while keeping the core of Bosh, Bargnani and Calderon together.
